 Bridget Michalski’s love of food and wine was first ignited while working in restaurants while studying at Rutgers University. After a few years working in the mortgage industry, she started taking wine classes and soon quit her job to attend culinary school. She then lived in northeastern Italy for three years where she studied the culinary and wine traditions of the regions of Italy as well as other countries throughout Europe. Since returning to the U.S., she has dedicated herself to the wine industry passing the Certified Specialist of Wine exam with the Society of Wine Educators and working in retail, wholesale and winery operations of the wine business in Alabama, Canada, Texas, Virginia and Savannah.
She worked for Savannah Wine Cellar from 2012 to 2014, and is excited to now be its managing partner and share her passion for wine with our customers. She is happy to now call Savannah her permanent home after her husband, Nick, retired from the Air Force in 2016. |
