Saturday: Tell Us What You're Drinking!
Saturday, Sept. 14, 4-6 p.m., $10 per person includes light bites
 Sommeliers are expected to discern very fine nuances in wines -- and you will be surprised what your own palate tells you!
Join us Saturday when we will conduct a blind tasting of six wines. You will choose the varietal (Dont' worry -- it's multiple choice) and rate each wine based on how well you like it. We're sticking with core varietals -- like Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon -- so there won't be any real oddballs. It's all in fun, which is what we do best in The Cellar -- see you there!

Guest of honor Steve Pignatiello, owner of P. Comms International, is known for his dedication to fine wines and to  the quality of his wines -- traits that have made P. Comms Int’l one of the Southeast’s most respected wine importers. Clients have included such well-known establishments as The Grove Park Inn Resort and Spa, The Ritz-Carlton (Buckhead) in Atlanta, The Cloister on Sea Island, The Woodlands Resort and Inn in Summerville, S.C., and Augusta National Golf Club.
Chef Patrick McNamara is putting together a remarkable five courses, which will be paired with some amazing Premier Cru and Grand Cru wines. Seating will be limited to 25 people.

Wine 101, Sept. 23, 6 p.m. Join Wine guru Michael Ambrose as he takes you on an exploratory journey through the basics of wine. Taste the core varietals, learn about the key wine regions and get the 4-1-1 on how to taste and evaluate wine.
Wine 102, Sept. 30, 6 p.m. Ambrose continues your global tour of wines. In this class, dig deeper into wine producing regions, taste wines that go beyond the basic grapes and begin to learn the ins and outs wine service, wine pairing and wine selections.
