 We don't know whether you're rooting for Georgia or Florida this weekend. However, our front line is made up of three reds and three whites that are all perfect to enjoy with football game munchies. We're especially happy to sample a new label, The Grinder Pinotage. This South African winner has sumptuous up front nose of mocha and coffee beans. On the palate, expect wild berry and dark chocolate flavors. We will have the big game on TV!

Join in upstairs at Noble Fare for a Book Signing and Tasting/Demonstration with Master Sommelier Richard Betts. Richard Betts is one of fewer than two hundred master sommeliers in the world, but he’s no wine snob  and he hates wine-speak. In the first book of its kind, he helps readers scratch and sniff their way to expertise by introducing the basic components of wine—the fruits, the wood, the earth—enabling anyone to discover the difference between a Syrah and a Sangiovese and get the glass they love every time. Humorously illustrated, with 16 scents, this irresistible gift puts the fun back in wine fundamentals. This event is $30 and includes a copy of Richards book & wine tasting. T.V. Dinners will be available for $15 each at the conclusion of the event.

Pinot Noir Santa Lucia Highlands Garys' Vineyard
 This 50-acre vineyard was planted in 1995 by friends and growers Gary Franscioni and Gary Pisoni along the terraces of the Santa Lucia mountain range, overlooking the Salinas River Valley. With plenty of lovely, rich tannins, this Pinot offers up flavors of dark red fruit, subtle oak, nutmeg-clove spice. $64.99.
