Shafer 2010 Relentless
Extraordinary care goes into the creation of Relentless -- an awe-inspiring, luscious blend of Syrah and Petite Sirah. This  is one the critics heap praise upon -- and with very good reason. Complex, rich, a real show stopper.
Wine Advocate scored Relentless with a well-deserved 97 points. Wine Enthusiast marked the wine with 92 points and in doing so reported:
“A blend of Syrah and Petite Sirah, Shafer’s Relentless is a testament to the winery’s commitment to these varieties despite their domination of the Cab market. The wine shows the huge power and balance of Shafer’s Cabernets, with a different flavor profile. It’s soft and gentle but complex in ripe tannins, with blackberry, cherry, cassis, cola, red licorice, sweet tobacco and rich Asian spice flavors.” Very limited supply, $78.99.
