Meet and Greet: Brack Mountain Wine Company

 We were blown away when we tasted this new-to-Georgia company a few weeks ago. Brack Mountain sources from some of California’s most prominent vineyards for its Cypress and Bench labels, then crafts those grapes into some luscious, approachable and affordable wines. Come, taste, meet Ali Story, national sale manager, and learn more about these wines.

December Charity Tasting:
Help the local Martin de Porres Society
feed 400 families over the holidays.
Thursday, Dec. 7, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
$15 per person, $25 per couple (Entry price plus 10 percent of the night's wine purchases go to the charity.)
 Every year, the Martin De Porres Society plays Santa Claus for families around the Coastal Empire. And this year, the number of families that need help has increased. "We have to keep the spirit of Christmas alive," says St. Martin De Porres Executive Director, Yolanda Negron. "That means keeping hope, giving love, and keeping respect alive."
The non-profit has been serving needy area families since 1986.

November wines are ready for pick up!
Normally, November selections would see two red wines, but we found a full-bodied white that was so good and such a great value that we couldn't wait until next spring to introduce it to you. It's from the Greek isle of Santorini and is made primarily from a grape called Assyrtiko.
Your other wine this month is from the Tuscany area in northern Italy. It's a super Tuscan, a blend of Italy's famous Sangiovese with other permitted grapes. In this instance, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Enjoy!
