Saturday: Guided Tasting of Volk Vineyard Wines
Saturday, Feb. 1, 4-6 p.m., $10 pp includes light bites
 Join us to taste through a selection of wines from Kenneth Volk Vineyards in our weekly hand-poured tasting. A vineyard rep will be on hand to talk about the wines from this prominent California producer.
Ken Volk has been making Santa Barbara and Central Coast wines for more than a quarter century. Perhaps best known as the founder of Wild Horse Winery, Ken has earned a reputation for crafting world-class wines, particularly Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Santa Maria Valley.

New Classes Begin in February
Monday, Feb. 10, 6-8 p.m. OR Tuesday, Feb. 11, 6-8 p.m.
 SWC wine gurus Stan and Bridget embark on a new series of wine classes that give you an option of Monday or Tuesday nights. This first class – Wine Basics – will explore the core wine varietals, give you a background on how different wines are made and delve into the wine topics that will help you be a better wine consumer. $25 per person includes samples, materials. Call the shop to make a reservation.

Monday: Martinelli Winery Meet and Greet
Monday, Feb. 3, 2-4 p.m.
 We don’t see wines from Martinelli in market very often – and it’s even rarer to meet “The Farmer’s Daughter,” Julianna Martinelli. Julianna is one of the family winemakers and ambassador for this more than a century old California farm family. Taste a selection of the wines, meet Julianna and learn more about these delicious wines.
