Support Stacy Claywell ‘Dancing Stars of Coastal Georgia’ in charity tasting on Wednesday

 This charity wine tasting supports the efforts of Dancing Stars of Coastal Georgia participant Stacy Claywell. Guests will sample several wines, enjoy appetizers and have the chance to participate in a 50/50 raffle and silent auction. To learn more about Stacy and Dancing Stars of Coastal Georgia, click here. Funds raised from Dancing Stars of Coastal Georgia benefits the work of the local Alzheimer’s Association.

 Meet Hugo Silvestrini Vina of Vina Ventisquero, one of the top wine producers in Chile. The wines for tonight are among consistently high points recipients from all the major wine publications. Five wines are in the lineup and include very small production and hard to find wines.

Coming: Tasting for Savannah Philharmonic
Thursday, May 1, 5:30-7:30 p.m., $15pp/$25 per couple
 Since the Savannah Philharmonic Chorus made its debut in October 2008, followed by the Philharmonic Orchestra in January, 2009, the organization has continued to bring the highest caliber of musical performance to the city.
The Savannah Philharmonic Orchestra is a professional orchestra presenting a full range of concerts each season (September to May), from classics to pops. The Savannah Philharmonic Chorus is a community-based auditioned ensemble that performs regularly with the orchestra in an oratorio and opera setting, as well as performing a wide range of music.
Proceeds from this month’s tasting and wine sales night of the tasting go to the non-profit group. Guests will taste from a selection of six wines and a variety of light appetizers.

Meet the Winemaker: Luca Fedrigo of L’Arco
Saturday, May 10, 4-6 p.m., $10pp includes light bites
 Meet Luca Fedrigo, a talented young winemaker from Italy who produces under the L’Arco label. Meet Luca, talk about Italy and the wine business, and bring a friend for this rare opportunity to meet such a rising star. This is a rare US visit form Luca – and a perfect chance to sample his hard to find wines. $10pp.
