This week’s hand-poured tasting includes some unique and  interesting wines – both in terms of the wine drinking experience and the wines' stories.
Take the 2012 Hillinger Pinot Gris. This is considered to be one of the best PGs produced outside of Italy, the generation’s old family estate is now in the hands of the energetic and imaginative young Leo Hillinger. In addition to being a world class winemaker, he is also an award winning designer of everything from buildings to beautiful futuristic packaging – which shows in the clean and contemporary Hillinger label.
